Week 2 – Monday 18th June to Friday 22nd June, 2018
We have finished the second week of this year’s visit, which means we are already half way through. How can that be? Still, the children have continued to have a jam-packed schedule. Let’s find out what they have been up to this week:
On Monday, the children were amazed by Dover Castle.
On Tuesday, the children went horse riding and then Christmas came early (or is that late?). The children experienced some our Christmas celebrations and, of course, there was an extra special visitor with gifts.
On Wednesday, the sea was calling at St Mildred’s Bay. For our children on their first visit, this was their opportunity to see the sea for the very first time (Belarus is a landlocked country).
On Thursday, Natasha Boardman-Steer did some crafts and t-shirt printing with the children and there was also time for the park.
On Friday, the children visited the birds and animals at Eagle Heights.
Another amazing week!
Thank you so much to everyone that has made all of this happen. We are extremely grateful to everyone who supports the charity in any way and we could not do this without your donations in time, money, gifts, equipment, activities for the children and much, much more. Look what we have achieved together! Thank you.
