Another week has passed already and the children have just completed their second week in the UK and what a week! Let’s find out what they have been up to:
Monday was an exciting trip to Rochester Fire Station. The children tried out the uniforms and the equipment. Were treated to a fish and chip lunch. And cooled off in the afternoon sun with the water hoses.
On Tuesday, the children enjoyed an Easter egg hunt (well, why not!), horse riding and a picnic.
On Wednesday, it was time to hit the beach at Broadstairs! Belarus is a landlocked country and so for our new children this was their first time seeing the sea. What a picture on their faces!
On Thursday, they had a science fun day, featuring kitchen science, chromotography and bottle rockets.
Finally, on Friday the children had a fabulous day of activities at St Thomas of Canterbury School.
Phew, I think after that week they will be needing some rest!
